ENGO — an app for managing thermostats and devices in buildings

A browser app for controlling ENGO thermostats, relays and sensors across many rooms.

Problem

ENGO devices — thermostats, relays, roller blinds, sensors, boiler modules — needed a single place to manage them in homes and rooms, in the browser and in real time. The client had no interface design.

What did we do?

  • UI and UX design of the app — a dashboard with device cards, a home and rooms view, settings,
  • thermostat control: manual mode, weekly schedule, eco, boost, frost protection, holiday, party,
  • relays (including countdown, cycles and schedule), roller blinds, motion sensors, a boiler control module, thermostatic heads and device diagnostics,
  • filters: model, type, status, battery level, room,
  • live updates without refreshing (SignalR), a .NET backend integrated with Tuya Cloud, MQTT and a message queue.

Result

Supports 23 ENGO device models, with the interface in 9 languages.
