Problem

End customers and installers had to choose controllers, wiring centres, actuators and thermostatic heads for their installation themselves. The manufacturer wanted to make this simpler on its website. The client had no configurator design.

What did we do?

  • UI and UX design of a step-by-step configurator, with its own design system (colours, typography, selection tiles),
  • steps: heating type (underfloor, radiators, fan coils), wired or wireless, installation parameters (manifolds, rooms, loops, radiators), control via the internet or an app, boiler control,
  • automatic selection of product quantities and of the gateway for internet control,
  • an installer mode and a simplified mode,
  • a PDF quote and saved enquiries, embedded in the manufacturer’s WordPress website with language versions.
