WAREHOUSE SYSTEM WITH CAR WORKSHOP SERVICE
The use of image recognition and machine learning.
Our solution, apart from car workshop service, has been enriched with a dedicated solution for servicing the warehouse of used parts.
Car electronics components are very expensive, so the workshops introduce the possibility of using substitutes and used parts, but ordinary storage systems do not have solutions for registering used parts in the warehouse without a bar code or identification number.
That's why in our product we have made some innovative solutions in this area to enable the use of used parts with the help of photos of the camera and the use of the ML module (machine learnig) to support in the field of image recognition assistance. Below is the scope of new functionalities in this area:
- registration of used parts (introduction of parts to the warehouse) - the system introduced these parts to the warehouse with a manual supplementary description and photo of these parts took with a camera. The system enables their searching by providing their locations in the warehouse in order to assign to the errand and give to the employee performing the repair,
- release of used parts - after taking a picture of parts, the system recognizes what part is transferred to the employee for repair.
- in the case of registration of the same or similar parts, the system learns their appearance and, at the time of taking the picture, suggests categories, type and description of parts, making it easier to register subsequent used parts.
In addition to expanding the system with a module of used parts, the warehouse system had the appropriate set of functions to manage and control the state of the warehouse
